Hey guys, just got back from a trip up north and was wondering when the best season is to hit the beach if you're a beginner surfer. I've noticed that September and October are usually pretty mellow at most spots but can anyone confirm? I'm looking for some spot suggestions too, preferably breaks with forgiving waves and not too many crowds.
